Meadowlarks Exercise Group
Meadowlarks runs every week on Thursdays between 2 and 3pm and is a relaxed and friendly exercise class for older people with a focus on balance, flexibility and strength. Since lockdown it has been running in two formats - a weekly zoom class lasting around 45 minutes and we are also emailing out 6 exercises each week for people to practice daily at home.
We are looking forward to welcoming people back into the surgery when we can though we don’t know when that will be, but we will probably continue to run the classes on Zoom as well moving forwards.
Currently there is no charge to patients (July 2021)
The surgery offers a range of vaccinations. Please make an appointment well in advance of your holiday to ensure adequate cover.
For further details please see the section entitled "Travel Vaccinations" on this website.
An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing and residential homes. Please contact our receptionist in October for details of our vaccination clinic dates and to make an appointment. If you are unable to attend the surgery through infirmity, we can arrange a home visit.
Further details of this year's Flu campaign and arrangements for vaccination will be posted on this website in due course.
